Kakobuy Tracking Guide: Follow the Right Parcel Reference
Follow the tracking number assigned to your dispatched parcel. Product orders, warehouse records and international shipments can have different identifiers.
Identify whether the status belongs to a purchase order, warehouse receipt or international parcel. Use the reference and carrier assigned to that stage before interpreting a missing update.
What you will learn
- Seller delivery and international delivery are separate stages.
- The destination alone does not identify the final carrier.
- Keep the last update, dates and private reference when requesting help.
Match each reference to its stage
The source order identifies the purchase from the seller. A warehouse record identifies the received item. A parcel reference groups the items submitted for shipping. The carrier tracking number follows the dispatched shipment.
Keep these identifiers together with the route name, dispatch date and service contact. If several orders are combined, one international parcel may contain more than one source purchase.
Use the carrier in your shipment record
A route name does not always identify the company making final delivery. Check the actual shipment record for the carrier and any replacement or local tracking number.
Open the carrier’s own tracking service manually and enter the assigned number. If the number is not recognised, confirm the carrier and dispatch status with the service that shipped the parcel before assuming it is lost.
Separate dispatch, transit and delivery
Label creation, collection, international movement and final delivery are different checkpoints. Read the latest status together with the carrier’s explanation and the route terms you accepted.
A period without a new scan does not identify the cause on its own. Ask the shipping service to investigate with the order and parcel references rather than guessing whether a parcel is in a specific location.
Use the delivery notice for the next action
If tracking requests an action, use the named carrier’s official website to check the notice and available options. Confirm any payment request independently before supplying payment details.
On receipt, compare the contents and record visible packaging damage if necessary. Keep useful photos and packaging until any missing-item or damage question is resolved with the responsible service.
