HOW CLICK DIAGNOSTICS WORK

Privacy & Analytics

This discovery guide uses local browser storage to help test product, category and search links. No first-party analytics server receives these diagnostic records.

What stays in this browser

Recorded fields are event time, page path, destination path, product or category reference, referral placement, link surface and search length. Search text and URL query strings are excluded. We do not create a visitor ID, fingerprint or analytics cookie for the local report. Up to 5,000 events are retained for 30 days.

Use the local click report to pause recording, export CSV or clear this browser’s data. Browser privacy signals such as Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track disable recording. The report describes activations; it does not verify arrival or purchase.

When a link opens another site

Product and category links preserve the exact destination and referral campaign parameters. Search forms send your entered terms to the catalog to perform that search, but do not put the terms in this guide’s analytics records. The external service handles its own account, purchase and privacy practices.

Google Analytics preferences

No Google Analytics measurement ID is configured. No Google Analytics tag is loaded or sent data by this guide.

Google Analytics is not connected.

Local-only diagnostics are not a centralized audience report. A configured and allowed analytics service is needed to aggregate consenting visitors across devices.
