Kakobuy Hoodie Sizing: Compare the Measurements Before the Label
Two hoodies with the same letter size can differ in width, length and sleeve construction. A reference garment makes those differences easier to interpret.
Measure a comparable hoodie you already wear, follow the exact seller diagram and compare each relevant dimension. A wider chest alone does not establish the same length, sleeve fit or comfort.
What you will learn
- Keep units and start/end points consistent.
- Do not convert a flat width into a body-size recommendation.
- Compare the whole shape before deciding a letter size.
Start with a hoodie that already works for you
Lay it flat without stretching, fasten it if appropriate and record the chest width, body length and sleeve measurement using a consistent method. Take a reference photo of the measuring tape if that helps you repeat the comparison.
Check whether the new listing uses the same method. Dropped shoulders and raglan sleeves can make a sleeve number measured from a different starting point misleading.
Compare width and length as separate decisions
Illustrative values only, not sizes for a listed product: suppose your reference garment measures 60 cm across the chest, 70 cm in body length and 63 cm at a consistently measured sleeve.
| Measurement | Your reference | Option A | Option B |
|---|---|---|---|
| Flat chest width | 60 | 62 | 60 |
| Body length | 70 | 68 | 73 |
| Sleeve using the same method | 63 | 61 | 65 |
Option A is wider but shorter than your reference. Option B matches the flat chest width but is longer in the body and sleeve. Neither row proves fit: compare shoulder construction, hem, cuffs, fabric information and the chart’s stated tolerance too.
If the chart explicitly gives a flat garment width, doubling that number approximates a garment circumference. It is not a replacement for a body measurement or evidence of comfort.
Ask a warehouse question that can be photographed
If the selected option’s received measurements matter to your decision, ask whether the service can provide them and at what cost. State the method rather than asking whether the hoodie will fit you.
Example chest-width request
Please fasten the hoodie and lay it flat without stretching. Following the seller diagram, show the armpit-to-armpit chest width with both tape endpoints visible. Please confirm any extra charge first.
Example wording. Replace the placeholders and confirm the service can provide the request.
Check the hoodie and jacket together
For a winter outfit, compare a jacket you already wear over a similar hoodie. Record its measurements separately rather than automatically adding a fixed allowance to the hoodie chart.
If the option, chart or measurement remains unclear, resolve it before purchase or parcel approval. Check the service’s current exchange options for that order; a warehouse measurement does not itself guarantee an exchange.
Check fit and photo evidence
Work through measurements and specific photo requests, then apply the detailed sizing and QC checklists.
