Kakobuy Fees & Total Cost: Build a Complete Budget
Compare the same complete set of costs before deciding that a product is cheap. Use confirmed amounts where available and mark the remaining items as unknown.
Add selected-option product cost, quoted domestic delivery, service or payment charges, international delivery and other confirmed costs once each, in the same currency.
What you will learn
- A budget filter applies to the recorded item-price range.
- A missing charge is unknown, not confirmed zero.
- Record what a quoted amount includes before comparing services.
Start with the selected product option
A listing may show a price range for different options or individual pieces. Confirm the chosen size, colour, quantity and contents before recording the item cost.
Our USD estimates use the stated fixed reference conversion of ¥7.2 = $1. The amount charged by a payment provider or agent can differ. Use the payable amount in your account when finalising a budget.
Keep each charge in its own line
Record domestic delivery, agent or service charges, payment costs, international shipping and optional services separately. Ask whether a quoted line already includes any of the others.
- Use one currency across the calculation.
- If a fee is already included in another amount, enter it once.
- Record the source and date of a quote alongside your own budget.
- Leave room to resolve charges that have not yet been quoted.
Add a quote for the packed parcel
Shipping should be based on the planned goods and packed measurements, not just the number of items. A large, light parcel may be billed differently from a compact parcel with the same scale weight.
Check any separately quoted receiving or import-related charges with the responsible service. This guide does not calculate tax liability or publish fixed country thresholds.
Use a transparent arithmetic example
For an example budget, $30 of products plus $3 domestic delivery, $2 service costs, $20 international delivery and $5 other confirmed charges totals $60. These are invented inputs for explaining addition, not a Kakobuy price quote.
For several items shipped together, calculate the parcel total first. Dividing shipping equally among items is a budgeting choice and may not reflect each item’s contribution to parcel weight or volume.
Treat budget collections as item-price shortlists
Our under-$20 and under-$50 collections require the full recorded estimated product-price range to fall below the threshold. They do not include shipping or establish the final amount payable.
Open the exact product and confirm its current options before adding it to a parcel budget. A larger discount on the product does not necessarily mean a lower delivered total.
See how a small item price becomes a different total
Illustrative example, not a quote: an item costs $18, quoted domestic delivery is $3, a service charge is $2 and an allocated delivery amount is $12. The known total is $35. Any further charge that has not been confirmed remains outside this subtotal.
If the service quote already includes a charge, do not add it again. An equal shipping allocation across several items is a budgeting method, not evidence of each item’s individual delivery cost.
